Two friends walked into a bar. A few hoppy beers and several shots of courage later, they had a business plan and a name: Rose City Knifeworks.

We designed a rose symbol and a family of logos around it, including a horizontal version with a serial number.
We built the rose from layered crimson petals around a four-pointed star, and repeated that star inside the O of ROSE. We set the name in wide, heavy capitals. Beside the horizontal logo we turned the word HARDENED and a serial number on their side, the way a maker stamps a blade.
