Charter

CHARTER is an EU Horizon 2020 research project coordinated by the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland. It studies how Arctic plant and animal life is changing, and works with Indigenous and local communities, including reindeer herders, on ways to adapt.

We designed the Charter logo and a standalone symbol, plus a white version for dark backgrounds.

We arranged the symbol in six arms around a centre point, like a snowflake. Leaves in green and blue fill one side, and an orange reindeer head fills the other, its antlers branching into the arms. Below it we set CHARTER in heavy navy capitals.
